Office Manager Job Description

Job Title: Office Manager 
Reports to: Owner/Manager
Place of Work: Based in Corvallis, Oregon, in Office 875 NW Grant Ave 
Hours of Work: Full-Time, 1.0 FTE, 8am-5pm M-F 


Position Overview

We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented individual to join our small, collaborative IT team as an Office Manager. This role entails overseeing the smooth functioning of our office operations while also assisting in maintaining positive client interactions. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional organizational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively within a close-knit team. 

Job Duties

Serve as primary contact with new and existing clients (in-person/phone/email) 
Maintain communication systems for staff and clients 
Create, assign and schedule service requests 
Coordinate long-term projects and assist with schedule management 
Manage client documentation/agreements 
Create and maintain both digital and hard-copy filing systems 
Document and follow up on actions and decisions from meetings 
Handle incoming and outgoing mail 
Order office supplies  
Maintain a clean and safe workspace 
Contribute to team’s success through effective communication and high quality work 
Other duties as required 

Minimum Requirements

Associates or Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent relevant experience
Use a computer effectively and efficiently in the working environment
Use standard office machines (e.g. copier, scanner, VOIP telephone)
Use standard office practices and procedures 
Read, write and speak the English language to express ideas and communicate effectively 
Type minimum 30 words per minute, use Microsoft Office and Web-based Tools

Pay

This position is hourly starting at $21-26/hr commensurate with experience. 
This position includes 1 week of unpaid planned leave in the first year and PTO to be accrued at .04/hr. ACES will take all standard holiday’s off matching OSU’s Holiday Schedule. Additional vacation and sick days are negotiable during the 1 year review.
