computer-based information systems. Tom's planning and design experience in the medical environment includes local and wide-area network designs and linking geographically diverse medical sites into an integrated LAN
environment. He has consulted throughout the U.S., in Canada, Western Europe, and Mexico. Tom graduated from Ohio University Summa Cum Laude, and his graduate degree was awarded from the University of Pittsburgh with
distinguished academic achievement. Tom's expertise has been cited in national and regional publications including Nation's Business and Oregon Business. William Magedanz Bill Magedanz has developed an extensive background of technical expertise involving electronic and computer related systems. This experience includes a wide range of medical services organizations - private and
public. His 16 years of experience with electronic and computer devices includes the design of specialized electronic equipment for measurement and control; the installation, maintenance, and operation of minicomputer and
microcomputer systems; and software applications written in both high level languages and low level assemblers. He has provided professional services to organizations in the public and private sectors in the areas of WAN/LAN
design and installation; network design and administration; hardware and software selection and upgrading; and program design, coding and debugging. Bill has provided failure analysis investigations involving electronic and
computer systems and has given expert testimony concerning his investigations. Bill received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Oregon State University, graduating with honors.
Janet Bell Janet Bell has an extensive background in the healthcare setting. Since 1987, she has been involved in medical records, surgical authorization and procedural coding. During
the past four years, Janet has been responsible for process improvement and staff training in areas relating to information systems and GPMS functionality. As a technician, Janet performs a wide
variety of functions on workstation hardware and software. Her hardware experience includes maintenance and troubleshooting of workstations and printers as well as the installation of software, memory, hard drives, and
CD-Rom drives. Janet has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Communications from Concordia University. An avid snow-mobiler, Janet climbed Mt. St. Helens in 2000. She also enjoys fishing and other
outdoor activities. Ionela ErdmannWith superior organizational skills and an affinity for excellence in
customer service, Ionela Erdmann is the initial contact for clients calling the ACES Help Desk. She evaluates each issue, assigns it to the most appropriate ACES technical resource and continues tracking the issue through
resolution. Ionela manages and updates all system related materials and documentation and frequently provides staff training in areas relating to information systems and GPMS functionality.
Ionela has a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology at the University of Phoenix. She has a background in competitive gymnastics and has worked as a coach in that field for several years. |
